Welcome to my online teaching portfolio! My name is Alex and I am a recent graduate from the Kindergarten and Elementary Education program at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I am the recipient of the Jean M. Gwynne Award for showing outstanding potential as a teacher. You can find more information about this award and my nomination here.
In September 2016 I moved to Melbourne, Australia in order to start my teaching career. My love of travelling combined with my experiences studying abroad have prepared for me for this experience. Being a Casual Relief Teacher through two agencies continues to keep me excited and learning in various, different learning environments. You can learn more about this experience here. This portfolio will allow you to learn about myself as an elementary school teacher. Here you will find my philosophy of education, my teaching experiences, as well as lesson plans and units that I have created. By browsing through the various pages, you will learn why I will be an asset in your school. Thank you for taking the time to read my portfolio and learn a little bit more about me. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me by filling out the contact form below, or tweeting at me below. |
